Axes ТРУД ВАЧА are made by the method of free forging according to the traditions of Old Russian blacksmiths on the basis of modern metalworking technologies. Each forged product is unique. It has dents, nicks, traces of cleaning defects within the tolerance and minor deviations from the geometric dimensions. The axe is not perfect in appearance, it has higher mechanical characteristics than cast and molded. Free forging frees the metal from internal defects and changes the structure of the metal, making it fibrous and directional. This relieves internal stress and strengthens the product. Axe manufacturing technologies are developing, cheaper and faster methods are emerging, such as casting and stamping. However, the forged axe remains unsurpassed in quality.
